Ha'aretz yesterday reported that immigrants from the former Soviet Union, with sharpshooting skills, have volunteered to serve in the disputed territories, protecting settlements from palestinian terrorists.

The differences may be subtle, but it goes to show you how the media manipulate the truth to get across their own message. I am not entirely sure what message they are trying to convey; perhaps the point that Israel pays snipers from Russia to "do the dirty work." At any rate, this is a prime example of media manipulation at Israel's expense.
