THE AL-CRAPEEZA WAY
And now for today's dirt on Al-Crapeeza.
With pressure mounting on Iran to disclose its nuclear activities, Al-Crapeeza once again does what it does best (besides lie); divert the issue to Israel.
In another example illustrating Al-Crapeeza's agenda, the Media Line reports how an Al-Crapeeza presenter went out of her way to speak highly of AFatRat, when confronted with some ugly truths about him from an Egyptian interviewee.
One interviewee, 'Abd Al-Halim Qindil, Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian Al-'Arabi newspaper, rather startled the Qatari presenter.
"I'm afraid it’s Arafat himself who is responsible for the situation," said Qindil.
Qindil has reservations concerning the P.A.'s manner of conduct. "We are not on our way to establishing a state or liberating lands," he says. "The Palestinian Authority, in my opinion, is a political obstacle."
Qindil talked not only against the P.A. but also against Arafat himself. "Chairman Arafat is full of maneuvers; his statements full of contradictions. In the past he would spark controversy between the progressing Arab states and those considered reactionary. He would take money from one place and slogans from another."
The Al-Jazeera presenter cut him short. "But he is the president chosen by his people…," she said.
"Yes, that is true," said Qindil, "but we have to remember that his popularity with the Palestinian people has declined over the past ten years until it reached twenty-five percent [support] prior to the Israeli decision [to expel him]."
The presenter interrupted and said that the popular support protests of recent days prove exactly the opposite, and stress the increase in Arafat’s popularity. "So let's talk to some other people," she said.
