INTERNET SCAM EMAIL STRIKES AGAIN

Those internet scam artists are certainly persistent. I guess they realized that I wasn't going to be fooled by their "Nigerian" scam emails (which have plagued my inbox for the past few months) and decided to adapt the scam to modern events:

Sir,

I was the confidant of heir apparant of QUSAY HUSSEIN son of the tppled president SADAM HUSSEIN who was killed by the U.S forces in the Northern Iraqi city of MOSUL in what the U.S called operation to "disarm Iraq and free its people"

Presently, i have in my possession while worked with Qusay as a confidant before he was killed some vital confidential documents that can lead us to recover huge sum of money running into $120 Million United States dollars out of the $1 Billion Dollars which was secretly moved out of Baghdad and deposited overseas before the war started.

I am willing to work with strong mechanism net-work who is ready to be trusted hence a deal remains a deal. In your response, indicate your contact information so i can get back to you.

Dear Khalid,

As a confidante of Qusay Hussein who has vital confidential documents leading to millions of dollars, I am sure you will be of great value to the Americans (although I do not recall seeing your name on the "most wanted Iraqis" deck of playing cards). I have sent your original email to the FBI, who will investigate its authenticity. Of course, on the off chance that you are lying and this is just a scam, I am sure there may be grounds for prosecution.

P.S You may want to research your facts a little. The US operation in Iraq was actually called Operation Iraqi Freedom, and not Operation to 'disarm Iraq and free its people' as you have claimed. Although I can see how you would confuse the two names.
